Hahaha! Xanga is pretty cool....I do think the kids have pretty much converted to facebook, too. I thought I might see you and your group at Spring Sing this past weekend....but I didn't. It was a great show...the freshman group took 4th place. They are the first freshman class to ever place in the show...they were thrilled! Life is good in the Wheeler household. I lost my momma this past summer....it has been tough on me ..besides the fact Lavon left for college the very next month. I am doing much better. I know they are both where thry had worked their entire lives to be.:)
Take care, Heather
@Motherblonde - Hey Heather, great to hear from you. My crew was at Spring Sing on Friday night (front row!!!) I don't even know how that happened. Anyway, we totally enjoyed the show, and the next day's activities. We stayed in the University House dorms (nothing like what I had to stay in when I was there!). OC students today have it really tough, HA. Mac laptops, i-phones, dorms that look like the Taj-Mahal. Oh well. I am very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. My mother is okay now, but we almost lost her in December to meningitis. She's much better now. Ashton turned 15 Monday, March 3. I'm teaching her guitar. Gracie will be 13 in May. I'm teaching her banjo. Britton will be 10 in April. I'm teaching him guitar and mandolin. I don't know where I'm going with all of this but hopefully they will have as much fun with music as I have had. I bought a digital piano a few months ago. We're all having fun with it. Music is a great gift, isn't it? Take Care, Barrett ps: I stuck some videos on here of our Teen Connection (areawide thing for youth). It was our turn in February, so I had some of the kids and me plus a former youth grouper (now at Harding) sing some songs between worship and eating. It was a lot of fun. Sound and pictures could be better... but not horrible.
